Candle Care Guide

Burn beeswax candles properly
For a lasting and even burn, let your beeswax candle burn for at least an hour the first time you light it. This allows the wax to melt across the entire surface, preventing tunneling and helping the candle last longer.

Trim the wick regularly
Keep the wick trimmed to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) before each use. This minimizes soot and black smoke, helps prevent flickering, and makes the candle burn more efficiently.

Clean and care for your candles
Regularly cleaning your beeswax candles keeps them looking and smelling fresh. Use a damp cloth to gently wipe away any dust on the candle surface, and a small brush to carefully clean the inside of the candle.

Store your candles carefully
Keep your beeswax candles in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight. This helps prevent the wax from melting or changing color, preserving the candle’s quality and longevity.

Use a candle snuffer
Using a candle snuffer is ideal for beeswax candles, as it safely extinguishes the flame with minimal smoke and helps preserve the wick for future burns.
